Happy Friday! I am having a hard time believing it is well into November now, what happened there? I am not ready for the end of the year just yet, what is a gal to do?I am however, looking forward to the New Year, when the massive project I've been working on will be mostly over but for the clean up, and I can get back to a more normal routine.

When I think of winter I think of the time when we lived in Sweden: dark red houses, tons of snow and 'tusen ljuse ljus', thousands of candles! And lots of Glogg of course, the alcohol kind! ;-)

My favorite thing about winter is when the kids play in the snow. I love how their cheeks get all red, they look like bundled up marshmellows, and they all line up for hot chocolate :).

Cute Wallets! I LOVE winter because I love snuggling my boys. I love having hot chocolate every morning by the fire in the fireplace. I'm definitely going to appreciate the cooler weather because I was pregnant this summer. :) I love both wallets so if I win one it doesnt matter they are both super cute!

What I like most about winter is anticipation of all the delightful things, old and new, that mingle in the air as soon as the chill hits.
I struggle to be positive about winter, but the things that make it bearable are fires and mitts. I rather like the rosy purse - such pretty fabric.

Just too cute! I like the Deco one. My favorite thing about winter is tht it gives me a really good excuse to cozy up inside the house and read/sew/knit, you name it. I also really the snow if we're lucky enough to get any!

Roses are my favourite flower so no difficulty in chosing for me!
I love the fact that winter is cold. Stating the obvious? I know- but summer here can be so hot. I love fresh made soup and bread for dinner, I love rugging up in hats and winter knits, I love cold days where plans don't go beyond coffee, couch and a family classic in the DVD player.
I could go on for hours.

I love winter, especially after living 25 years in Florida and now living in Alabama. I love the hats, scarves, gloves, sweaters and I love how trees look when their branches are bare and how you can see in to the forest so much easier!

What I love about Winter is when I'm all snuggled into my lovely warm crochet blanket picking out fabrics and wools for my next project. It's nicer to stay in and craft than go out. My fab wallet is the green/blue one. Keeping everything crossed ;)

I live in Hawaii and winter here means lots of rain, cooler temperatures, and snow on our three tallest mountains (actually, they're volcanoes). I love wearing sweaters & jeans and this winter is gearing up to be our coolest one yet, so I'm thinking of purchasing some boots! I love your blog, and I adore the rosy wallet.
both wallets are perfect but I'm especially loving those bright, beautiful blooms on the rosy wallet! I think the best thing about winter for me is, typical holiday stress aside, getting together with my huge family for our rather time-less christmas party. The punch bowl comes out, the spread of food is massive and impressive as always, and it's just nice to spend an evening surrounded by family :)

I live in Australia, so our winters are not like yours, but what I love the most, is to hear the rain on the roof on a weekend, knowing that I can stay inside all day in my sewing room and be happy,warm and dry :0) - love either of the wallets

I love winter as I seem to find more time for crafty things. The evenings are longer and often I am indoors and so can "play" with my crafting toys, drink tea and taste all the cakes and other delights I have crafted in my kitchen.

There isn't a thing I don't love about winter in Mid Michigan, even the icey roads and blizzards,,,means I can stay home and craft! LOL I think the most fun for me these days is watching my Golden Retriever get a sparkle in her eye with the first snow fall and the hopping like a puppy playing in it.

A fantastic giveaway. love the rose print wallet, the colours and design are just up my street. i love winter months with the crisp frost on the ground and when you go for a walk the frost on the trees and plantlife. I think spider webs are so amazingly intricate and come to life more in the frost too. Perfect opportunities to wrap up warm in all those cosy layers, tights, scarves n gloves etc and indulge in some nice crafts or a good book/film during the dark nights.

A rainy day, a fire & a good book! Both wallets are lovely too.
Right now it's nearly 9pm and I'm sitting underneath my airconditioner as it's still 30 degrees outside. It's so weird to think it's winter somewhere!!
Although I love the heat, I do have to admit that there's a lot I miss about winter, but my absolute favourite things is the roast dinners and pumpkin soups. I love the stodgy food that you crave in the colder months.

I LOVE the winter-time, the crackle of the logs in the stove, the warmth generated by one or more cats sitting on your lap, the first chance to wear the snuggly sweaters you started knitting last winter but didn't finish till the summer, watching the snow magically transform the garden that you didn't quite have time to tidy up because you were crafting...I could go on! It would be the deco wallet for me to remind me of the greens of spring and summer while it's white outside.

I love the snow in the winter. I'm not a big fan of being stuck in it (while traveling) or even being in it (I'm not a fan of the cold), but I love being at home sitting bundled up with lots of blankets, yummy hot tea/cider, a slice of cake and a book/movie by the window.

I love the coziness of winter. Cuddling up inside with the fire, hot chocolate and Lifetime movies! We tend to get snowed in, literally, for days at a time here in Fargo, so I always keep hot chocolate on hand so we are ready!

My favourite thing about winter is that I can pull out my slow cooker again! Do all the prep the night before, bung it all in, switch it on just before leaving to go to work and it does it magic throughout the day. After a stressful and tiring day at work, the smell of the stew hits me as soon as I enter the block of flats, getting stronger as I go up the stairs. Wonderful thing to welcome you after a long day and cold journey home!

Winter is my favourite season of the year for so many reasons, but ill try and compress them just for you (and the gorgeous Rosy wallet!)
Winter for me is of course the gathering of family, exchanging of presents, creations of mulled wine and savouring the moist Christmas Turkey that only my dad can cook perfectly each year. Its the singing of Christmas songs as I play the piano whilst the fire crackles in the corner, lighting our faces that are already rosey from alcohol. Its the midnight kiss that transports you into the slumber, only to be woken by the rustling of my kitten unwrapping my first stocking present for me. Winter is my sanctuary of happiness, and I long for it all year round.

These wallets are gorgeous, i love them.
I live in new zealand( so i dont blame you if you dont want to ship one half way across the world ) and winter was a while ago now, but anyway, my favourite thing about winter is when the first snow falls, and you wake up in the morning and look out the window and every thing is covered in this white blanket of snow. Then you go outside amd sometimes the snow is still falling and there is no wind, and everthing is quiet, there is nothing but you and these millions of tiny snowflakes, not one the same, all floating down like tiny fairys. I always feel sad when some one walks across the snow, and its not just a perfect, unbroken white sheet any more.( then i love watching my little bros and sister build snow men , they are so cute, bundled up like marshmellows).
I love both the wallets but i think i lke the deco one just a tinsy bit more.
Might give it to my mum for xmas:)

My excitement regarding future uses for the wrapping paper on gifts that I have been given ( and the careful removal of paper to keep it crisp!)
Reminiscing about each bauble's origin as I decorate the tree ( and then experience some guilt regarding whether it is truly necessary to showcase the more ugly decorations but which have sentimental value!)
