I have always loved garden sheds, outbuildings and structures...they hold a bit of magic and mystery. Here are a few lovelies I found on Flickr.
1. Garden Shed ....., 2. Garden Shed, 3. Blue, 4. Rug Wash Day, 5. Grow 4 It - Beehive Compost Bins, 6. Garden Shed
I will be back soon with some of my own garden moments.
Happy Monday!
There is a big feature on 'sheds' (du lux) in this month's English Country Living - I can see you would love it as much as I did! I have been eyeing up Ben's shed hopefully, but I knnow there's no chance, really...
ReplyDeletebeautiful! gets me dreaming!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right, sheds are magical..My favorite is the rugs on the line one...Not long ago I saw a short feature (can't remember where) on a woman who made the smallest shed into a sewing area, away from everyone and only big enough for her and her sewing stuff, it was sweet.
ReplyDeleteI join you in the love of "sheds"
ReplyDeleteI have a sweet book called "The Potting Shed" by Linda Joan Smith that you might enjoy. Maybe you could check your library~
I have a very large and wonky shed in my small garden that my hippy built for me. I've been working in it for a couple of years now, and can't begin to tell you how fab it is. I thought I would miss the hustle and bustle of the big studio complex I was in before, but being so close to home when not being in the house just feels right while the kids are so young. I can escape there when life in the house is too much, but equally I can lock the door at the end of the day and leave it all behind. women and sheds are the way forward!
ReplyDeleteI love the colorful bee huts. I suspect those are bee huts. Either way it is a pretty effect.
ReplyDeletei love those compost bins!! their so cheery!
