I have been under the water
Under the weather
Undone
I have been under the water for 2 weeks.
I have been muddled, murky, blurred, befuddled, and also slightly deaf.
So, if you've noticed that I haven't been coming 'round well...I'm not quite myself.
The old medicine didn't work, there are high hopes for the new medicine. It's bigger, stronger, faster, but it's undertow makes me even more deep divery.
Another side effect seems to be self portraiture. Perhaps there will be a renaissance of the 'Experiment'. But for now, I think I will take a little break and hope to see you soon on dry land.
Be well.
ohh that's no good. hope you are better soon Ms Lola Nova.
ReplyDeletebut I am loving these gorgeous pics ♥

ReplyDeleteOh yes, the Russian Roulette of medicine and high hopes of 'new' one working, I know it all too well. As sorry as I am that you will be away from us for a time, it will be good that you put all of the 'extras' down for a little nap so you can breath softly and have a quiet rest...We will be here when you come to visit again. xxoo

Poor you - hope you re-surface the other side soon. Your pictures show well where you're at - and although they're lovely, I'm sure the situation isn't. Look after yourself. Abby x

Be well soon. Xx
ReplyDeleteI'm all too familiar with that undertow. It can create some things of beauty--your photos--but the trade-off is so very difficult. Rest, put one foot in front of the other as you're able, keep breathing. It will let go, and soon I hope!
ReplyDeleteIf only everything had side effects like 'self portraiture'.
ReplyDelete"May cause compulsion to watch 'Beaches'."
"WIll increase likelihood of swearing at mosquitos."
"Induces tears over romantic radio dedications."
Hope you get your head above water soon.
Breaks are good. Feel better.
