Because there is so much "No."
So many "Don'ts"
A lot of "Stop!"
A bunch of "Wait!"
And many a refrain of "No! Don't! Stop! Wait!"
Sometimes...
Just sometimes...
A great big "Yes! Go For It!"
is truly the finest thing ever!
Happy Monday!
Well when you say 'yes', you really go for it don't you!!! ;)

I bet the bath tub had a ring of blue. Fun times.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant. That is what I believe, if there is no good reason for saying 'no' then why not say 'yes'

I love this...it brought a smile to my face on a rough afternoon.
ReplyDeleteOmy, that made my day.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Yes, there are way too many no's, often for good reason, but still, a resounding YES can be wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYou have to shout YES sometimes! My two did this last summer, it took 2 baths to get them clean. Happy days.
ReplyDeleteLove it!! Can't let Busy see that she will get ideas... i do find myself saying those words, I would also add " be careful" to the list.
ReplyDeleteWhat a dream come true! Gorgeous photos -- you have certainly mastered that camera. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a summer time project, so you can hose them off before they come in the house!
ReplyDeleteVery fun!!
WAY TO GO, LADY! That's telling 'em!
ReplyDeleteYes, yes, yes....The little girl in me is jumping up and down and clapping for Pony Girl getting to have so much fun with paints, Yahooooooo !!!
ReplyDeleteYou awesome mumma you!! I hope to take a leaf out of your book here, this looks like so much fun..x
ReplyDeleteGood for you!
ReplyDeleteThank you. Parents need reminding sometimes.
ReplyDeleteMade me smile. Lots. x
Mwahahahahaha; a purple smurf!
ReplyDeletePunk wants to come stay at yours; should I pack a bag??
Sometimes you just gotta go with the flow!
ReplyDeleteOh what fun! I would love to just shrink down to Pony Girl's size and go to town with those paints! Ah, the joys of childhood. You did good by giving her a "yes" on this one, as she will remember this freedom for a long time.
ReplyDeleteYES!
ReplyDelete(and maybe there's an understudy position available on the Blue Man Crew...)
XOXO

Ha! The best fun ever!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! My youngest comes home from pre school most days looking not dissimilar!
ReplyDeleteYou're a wonderful mother and a braver woman than me. I sent them to nursery school for paint, etc, as I couldn't stand the strain (and the mess, and the clearing up)!!

How I envy Pony Girl! Makes me want to paint myself, but I'd be the one to have to clean up. Hmmm. I wonder if Emma the Beautiful Calico Queen would like to play in paints?

If you're going to get messy you might as well go all the way! How hard was it to get all that out of her hair???? :) I'll be she just LOVED you for letting her do that!
